Abbey EyeCare Presents 3D Printed Eyewear

3D Printed Eyewear, the wave of the future.. Abbey Eyecare presents 3D Printed eyewear from one of their patients. His own eyeglass frame was printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using PLA plastic. Eye exam and prescription lenses done at Abbey Eye Care.

3D printers start at $99 and this I believe is the next generation of custom eyewear. Put in a 3D printer, make several sizes/bridges, shapes and about 10 colors available, invite your patients in to customize and make their own eyewear and what do you have?

  • Destination Eyecare
  • Increased Talk Factor
  • Custom Eyeglasses
  • Affordable luxury
  • Fun

What more could you want?
