Ted Baker Eyewear For Fall 2016

High Fashion Collection Blends Retro Styling with Current Trends and Ted’s Quirky Personality

New York, NY (2016) – Tura Inc., the inventor of fashion eyewear in 1938, debuts fresh optical styles from its quintessentially British Ted Baker line, with striking models for women and men perfect for the Fall. Whether one needs a dapper frame for work or something more casual for school, Ted Baker has unique frames this season that will inspire. The frames boast rich materials including high density acetate, “T” branding, custom acetate, and stone set hardware.

“Ted’s romantic feminine point of view is expressed through every women’s frame,” says Crystal Throneburg, Product Manager for the Ted Baker collection. “The models feature iconic jewelry details, retro shapes, and playful prints that will make them collectable and fun to wear.” The men’s styles are equally captivating as they explore new materials and constructions to create a purely unique style to Ted.

These latest additions are part of the Speechless and Iconic “T” collections, which incorporate masterfully tailored vintage and modern features, and subtle luxury branding details. The wholesale price for the new styles ranges from $69.95 – $79.95 USD, making this collection an excellent option for customers that desire luxury, quality and styling but at a more than affordable price point.

The Chic Combo: Style B242 for Women
This cat eye combination style is signature Ted in its feminine shape, soft blush and rose gold palette, and luxurious combination of acetate and metal. The custom acetate, subtle brow bevel, and half barrel temple position this frame as a must have luxury item. It feels so amazing in the hand and on the face.
Colors: Tortoise, Blue, Black Available Size: 51-16-135

Sleek & Refined: Style B737 for Women
This retro inspired teacup shape is modernized with feminine uplift and a unique jeweled “T” decor. The “T” accent features Swarovski crystal square stones embedded in the metal jewelry like hardware. This jewel stone “T” is an iconic and romantic symbol found in the brand’s jewelry collection. The color palette is inspired by the latest trends, and utilizes our best- selling purple tortoise.
Colors: Purple Tortoise, Brown, Black Available Size: 53-14-135

Sleek Modernity: Style B886 for Men
This incredibly unique style exemplifies how Ted is always pushing the boundaries. The sleek front is made of two- layer acetate that has been cut from behind. This leaves a very subtle thin outline around the frame. It creates a frame within a frame. Even more unique is the polished exterior and matte interior of the frame. Only the highest skilled craftsman can pull this off.
Colors: Black, Tortoise, Green Available Size: 54-16-140

Vintage with a Modern Twist: Style B883 for Men
This style perfectly balances retro with contemporary influences. It features a very classic shape, but it is our first frame in the Ted Baker collection to utilize High- Definition acetate. You may have seen this material used in boutique brands. It is cellulose acetate so it allows for very rich colorations and can be heated for lens insertion. However, since it is high density, one can reduce the thickness of the material by 30% or more. This makes the frame incredibly light weight. It allows for a trendy heavier front profile while maintaining the light weight quality of a thin frame. In Ted, we have used it in an especially stylish way featuring color blocked temples and retro pin dots. Unlike most boutique brands, we have also incorporated a spring hinge with this material for added comfort.
Colors: Black, Tortoise, Crystal Available Size: 53-17-140

Special Details: Retro influences with modern updates mixed with Ted Baker’s quirky point of view, rich materials including custom acetate, high- density acetate, Swarovski crystals, and luxurious branding
