Peter Sunderland of retail store Framed Opticians and owner of Booth and Bruce England Eyewear company found a way to reuse old frames to make spec-tacular shade decor. The mirrors were made by Paul Soper who works with him in both companies.
They are put together with a glue gun and then spray painting the finished product. This could be a fun DIY project for the weekend or an opportunity to celebrate America’a Recycle Day November 15.
Apparently other companies like it as Paul has made one from stiletto heals for a shoe store, and one for a bar with miniature alcohol bottles.
For those who are fortunate to not have lots old frames hanging around, contact your frame suppliers and I will guarantee they have lots of old broken frames they would love to get rid of.
