We follow Frances Stolz of Backyard Spectacles on Pinterest and Facebook and absolutely love what she she is doing with her giant eyewear sculptures. She has made business card holders, tables, chairs and numerous other eyewear themed decor and furniture that are so much fun.
Nothing shouts about who you are with a giant sunglass in your windows or used inside. We brought to you some examples of how these colossal pieces of art can be used in decorating your optical shop.
.) From Greece. Huge Sunglass and note the vintage decor with old phones and typewriters.
.) This is an optical shop. They just used 1/2 eyes and made into mirrors. Great concept.
.) The front desk is accented by giant round spectacles. You can see the 1/2 eyes on the corner. Of special note, the left eye is cut off and continues on the back wall. A mini optical illusion.
.) If you don’t think this shop screams we sell sunglasses..
.) Want to make your sign really unique? Try dressing it up.
.) This is Backyard Spectacles Steampunk version of a dressed up optical sign. Absolutely love it.
.) One of our Facebook friends Solaris in Japan posted this POP Up store from Eyewear Vintage, who just now opened their first store in Amsterdam.
.) Round is hot and Backyard Spectacles nailed it with this vintage piece in the dispensing room.
.) Why settle for just one? The red sunglass makes the front desk pop.
.) Providence Optical has an industrial feel to their shop. Using an aviator shape with ‘Mirrored Lens’ makes this a focal point on one wall, drawing attention to select items.
