Independent Stores Generating Sales From Pinterest

I was going to write this post on our 6 months of Pinterest, but this just came up, will do my Pinterest Evaluation post later.  This gives you some important information on the sell factor on Pinterest.  I would put eyecare professionals in the small boutique category.

The other thing I see, might be another answer to showrooming.. Note how Amazon is at 7% while small boutique is at 12%.

According to the latest study from Bizrate Insights Image Sharing and Shopping Series:

  • Nearly one in five online shoppers claim that their recent purchase at Esty.com was made after seeing the image on Pinterest.
  • Branded stores came in second at 13% and small boutiques at 12%.’ Source
